Xeon was an Xbox emulator released for the Microsoft Windows operating system on April 25, 2003. The emulator is currently only capable of running Halo (NTSC distribution) with varied success from total inoperability to an Xbox-comparable success.

Xeon experiences the most success while running on GeForce FX video cards. Although the sole developer of Xeon, SF, has eleased an update to assist ATI Radeon graphics card compatibility many users are required to use software rendering to subvert the lack of a DirectX 9.0 video card. Much controversy over the legitimacy of Xeon previously existed due to the non-presence of the developer, limited user base, and lack of source code. Despite announcements of future development by SF, two pixel Shader source files were released as proof that the Xeon emulator was in fact unique.

NeonDS is a Windows-based Nintendo DS emulator. Currently, there is a lack of sound support. However, preliminary tests show that its emulation is fairly advanced already, producing reasonable speeds.

iDeaS is a Nintendo DS emulator for Microsoft Windows and Linux, using GTK+. So far iDeaS has emulated the ARM7 GBA processor at 100%, and the ARM9 dual screen processor at 99%, enabling it to run many commercial ROMs, including Super Mario 64 DS and Pokémon Diamond & Pearl (with a few graphical errors). The touch screen is fully emulated with a mouse cursor instead of a stylus, and a keyboard can be used to emulate the DS buttons. iDeaS uses a plugin system so that further support can be achieved without looking at the source code of the emulator.

iDeaS has limited wifi emulation, which as of right now only acts as a “dud” wifi plugin, bringing no true wifi, but allowing it to unlock features of DS games that need wifi support to be accessed. It also is the only emulator able to run Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck’s ’sleep mode’ challenge, due to a menu command to close the NDS lid; although NO$GBA also emulates closing the lid when minimized, problems with its video codecs prevent Duck Amuck from being played at all.

In the year 21XX, an archaeologist named Dr. Cain discovered the remains of a lab that once belonged to Dr. Light. Inside, he found a capsule containing a highly advanced robot called Mega Man X. Cain soon learned that X was imbued with human-like intelligence and emotion and decided to try and recreate the design. With the help of Dr. Light’s notes as well as X himself, Cain was successful in creating a series of replicate androids, or Reploids. Unfortunately, Cain’s design was imperfect. The robots had completely free will and some of them became violent and insubordinate. These rogue Reploids became known as Mavericks. To counteract this threat, an elite force known as the Maverick Hunters was formed. Led by a Sigma, a special robot designed by Dr. Cain, the Hunters tracked down Mavericks and destroyed them. But then something happened. Sigma suddenly went Maverick, and most of the Hunters joined him. Under Sigma’s leadership, they plan to eradicate the “inferior” human race that created them. Now it’s up to Mega Man X, who feels guilty for helping to create the Reploids, and Zero, the last remaining Maverick Hunter, to take down Sigma and save humanity.

An evil blacksmith named Smithy has split Star Road into seven pieces and launched an attack on the Mushroom Kingdom. Now it’s up to Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach and two newcomers, Geno and Mallow, to find the seven star pieces and put a stop to Smithy’s machines and machinations.
