Download Dolphin 1.0.3.2 - GameCube Emulator
Dolphin is a respected emulator that’s worth trying and is capable of playing GameCube games. It’s important that you have a fast computer system in order to emulate the graphics and music. It still requires support in several areas in order for the emulator to finally be complete.
Dolphin was the first GameCube emulator to successfully run commercial games. It can run quite a few on a standard PC with a modern graphics card (needs support for Pixel Shader 2.0 functionality) but the emulation is far from perfect. Sound emulation is not fully implemented, and is missing a lot of sound effects and music. Dolphin’s team promises better performance in the near future. Dolphin is now able to use mouse/keyboard and joypad/joystick.
On July 13, 2008 the Dolphin team released the source code and it now has a page on Google Code. There are newer versions available, compiled from the Google Code source which run at a vastly better speed than the previous version, 1.03. These speed improvements have been a welcome change among users of the x86 (32-bit) builds, who did not have the resources to use the improved 64-bit builds.
